Viramgam munsar lake (talav)

     વિરમગામ શહેરની પશ્ચિમે સોલંકી યુગનું સિધ્ધરાજ જયસિંહની માતા મીનળદેવીએ બંધાવેલ ઐતિહાસિક મુનસર તળાવ આવેલું છે. આ તળાવને જોવાલાયક સ્થળ તરીકે સ્થાન પામેલ છે. આ તળાવની જાળવણી નિભાવણી સાર સંભાળ પુરાતત્વ વિભાગ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવે છે.

 આ તળાવને સ્મારક તરીકે જાહેર કરવામાં આવેલ છે. પુરાતત્વ ખાતાના અધિકારીઓ આ તળાવની સાફ સફાઇ જાળવણી અંગે કોઇ નક્કર કાર્યવાહી પ્રજાહિતમાં કરવામાં આવતી નથી. મુનસર તળાવની ચારે બાજુ ઠેર ઠેર ગંદકીના ઢગ ખડકાયા છે ત્યારે આ તળાવની દુર્દશા જોવા જેવી બની ચૂકી છે ત્યારે છેલ્લા થોડા દિવસોથી અંદર લીલ જામી ગઇ છે તેના કારણે જે બાજુ પવન દિશા હોય તે બાજુ અસહ્ય દુર્ગંધ આવે છે.

આ તળાવની ચારેબાજુ રહેણાકના મકાનો આવેલ છે. બીજું આ તળાવની મધ્યમાં મુનસરી માતાજી તેમજ ઐતિહાસિક વડવાળા મેલડી માતાજી મંદિર આવેલ છે. દર રવિવારે મેલડી માતાજીના મંદિરે હજારો શ્રધ્ધાળુઓ દર્શનાર્થે આવે છે ત્યારે આ લીલની દુર્ગંધના કારણે દર્શનાર્થીઓને નાકે રૃમાલ દઇને ત્યાંથી દર્શનાર્થે જાય છે જેથી સ્થાનિક નગરજનો ભાવિકભક્તો ટુરીસ્ટો દ્વારા પુરાતત્વ વિભાગ સામે રોષની લાગણી વ્યાપી છે.

આ તળાવની દુર્દશા જોઇ લોકો નિસાસા નાખે છે. ગંદકી બાબતે મેલડી મા યુવક મંડળ દ્વારા અવારનવાર જવાબદાર સરકારી તંત્રને લેખિત તથા મૌખિક જાણ કરવા છતાં મુનસર તળાવમાંથી ગંદી લીલ હટાવવા બાબતે કોઇ નક્કર કાર્યવાહી કરવામાં આવેલ નથી. આગામી દિવસોમાં વડલાવાળા મેલડી યુવક મંડળ દ્વારા ગાંધી ચીંધ્યા માર્ગે આંદોલન કરવાની ફરજ પડશે તેવું જણાવ્યું છે.

સરકાર તરફથી હાલમાં સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાન સમગ્ર ગુજરાતમાં ચાલી રહ્યું છે. ત્યારે આ ઐતિહાસિક મુનસર તળાવની સફાઇ હાથ ધરવામાં આવે તો સાચુ સ્વચ્છતા અભિયાન લેખે લાગશે. બાકી તો રાજકીય નેતાઓ હાથમાં ઝાડુ લઇ ફોટો પડાવી આત્મસંતોષ માનશે. વિરમગામ શહેરમાં ઐતિહાસિક મુનસર તળાવની સાફ સફાઇ ગંદકી લીલ દૂર કરવામાં આવે તેવી નગરજનોની  પ્રબળ માંગ ઊઠી છે.

To the west of Viramgam city is the historical Munsar Lake built by Meenal Devi, the mother of Siddharth Raj Jai Singh of the Solanki era. This lake is considered as a place of interest. The maintenance of the lake is carried out by the Archaeological Department.

       The lake has been declared a monument. Archaeological Department officials said no concrete action has been taken in public regarding the cleanliness of the lake. Munsar Lake is surrounded by piles of dirt and the plight of the lake has become like seeing the greenery frozen inside for the last few days due to which there is an unbearable stench on the side where the wind direction is.

 The lake is surrounded by residential houses. Secondly, in the middle of this lake is the Munsari Mataji temple as well as the Meladi Mataji temple with historical ancestry. Every Sunday, thousands of devotees visit Melody Mataji's temple.

 People sigh when they see the plight of this lake. Despite repeated written and oral reports to the responsible government bodies by the Meldi Maa Yuvak Mandal regarding the pollution, no concrete action has been taken to remove the dirty lilac from Munsar Lake. In the coming days, Vadlawala Melody Youth Mandal has said that it will be forced to agitate in the way of Gandhi Chindya.

 The government is currently running a sanitation campaign all over Gujarat. Then, if the cleaning of this historic Munsar lake is carried out, a true sanitation campaign will be launched. Otherwise, political leaders will be satisfied with taking a photo with a broom in hand. In the city of Viramgam, there is a strong demand from the townspeople that the historic Munsar Lake be cleaned and the dirt removed.
